Connect Games and AI
to Social Good
YF
QWhy the Faculty of Informatics?
AI’ve loved games since childhood and even tried programming and making games in high school. I started thinking that games could evolve into tools for social good by combining them with AI and data science, which led me to this faculty.
QFirst Impressions After Enrolling
AI came in after reading books and listening to computer science podcasts, so I was excited—but I also realized I need strong foundations in math and programming. Courses where I build and run code with my own hands are especially fun.

QWhat I’m into Now
ARight after enrolling, I helped set up network infrastructure and built an SNS community where first-year students support each other. I’m also eager to take classes in image recognition and biometrics.
QCourse Choice and Future Plans
AI plan to enter the Data Science Course and go on to graduate study. My long-term goal is to develop AI technologies that connect entertainment and social contribution, and to explore ideas like citizen science that can help communities and cities.

High School: Funabashi Keimei High School (Chiba)
I’ve loved games since childhood, and I explore technologies that can benefit society through programming and data science. I’m involved in four clubs—Photography, CCS, the Chess Club, and the Light Music Club—which has broadened my range of creativity, thinking, and expression. I hope to pursue research that connects entertainment and AI in ways that contribute to society.
