QWhy the Faculty of Informatics?

AI was interested in the cosmetics industry and was torn between studying chemistry for product development and studying marketing to support development. A teacher suggested this faculty, and I felt it could connect both perspectives through data and technology.

QFirst Impressions After Enrolling

AI was amazed by the diversity of research. I expected mostly robots and AI, but I discovered work in visual information analysis, research related to daily life and health, and even animation technology—this made me more interested in engineering.

QWhat I’m into Now

AI’ve long been interested in marketing and management, and I like that the university offers social-science courses as part of general education. That breadth is a strength of a comprehensive university.

QCourse Choice and Future Plans

AMy goal is not just to build high-performance robots, but to bring new technologies and analysis results into real society so they can be used across fields. I want to deepen my programming and data science skills and give something back to society.
