QWhy the Faculty of Informatics?

AI spent four years of elementary school near Silicon Valley, surrounded by friends whose parents worked in IT. That environment made technology feel close. Later, watching virtual live performances made me realize how VR can expand human experience—and I wanted to learn the skills to create that kind of future.

QFirst Impressions After Enrolling

AIn the first year we focus on fundamentals like math and physics, but I can also study programming and multimedia engineering that connect to VR. I was also surprised (in a good way) by the variety of general-education classes—far beyond informatics—such as lectures where ambassadors introduce their cultures.

QWhat I’m into Now

AI love anime and games, but I’m most passionate about tennis. I joined the university tennis team and I’m training hard, aiming to compete in league matches.

QCourse Choice and Future Plans

AI plan to enter the Data Science Course and continue to graduate study. In the future I want to work in media-related fields, developing technologies like AR that can make digital experiences feel more real—and help people enjoy both the digital and physical worlds.

I’d like to create a global platform where people can share VR experiences without being judged or stereotyped for what they love.
